Starting the HCG Diet With A Friend Or Family Member
There are a lot of things to consider before starting the HCG diet. You need to consider your emotions and the challenges you will face when you are
taken away from certain types of foods that you love. You can get into difficult situations when you are with friends and relatives and you are eating because they might not know you are dieting and it can be hard to stick with the program. That is why it is a good idea to recruit a friend or family member to start the HCG diet with you.
Starting something new can sometimes be scary and even difficult when you are all alone. Especially when it comes to something like changing eating habits and lifestyle. Even though it is for the best it can still be a challenge. But when you have a friend who is joining you in this new exciting weight loss program it can be so much more easier and motivating as you go through the same things together.
What to look for in a diet partner:
- Find someone who you are close with. It is important to have someone that you feel comfortable with and that you spend a lot of time with. Someone who you know won’t judge you and someone who you know cares about your success as much as you care.
- Choose someone who is just as motivated as you are and has similar goals.
- Someone who will not be competitive. Weight loss should be an individual thing as far as how much each individual plans on losing. Everyone has different bodies, different metabolisms and different tastes. What works for one person may not get the same results for another.
- Pick someone who is willing to have fun and explore some different activities that you can do together to be positive and have an active lifestyle. Someone who you can work out with.
Motivation!
Overall, one of the best things about having a friend or family member join this program with you is motivation! There is no such thing as a “free pass” to weight loss. Although some programs are better and easier than others, they all take some work and commitment. And sticking with a program or commitment is so much easier when you have someone close to you who is going through the same thing and can help motivate you to keep it up especially when it may seem difficult. If you don’t have anyone who will join the program with you then you can at least let those close to you know that you are beginning the program so they can help motivate you. Let them know what your goals are and let them know how they can help you succeed. Even if they are no on the program with you they can help keep you on yours and remind you to follow your plan.
